About Us

The first Leeds Dyslexia Festival will take place on Saturday 29th September 2018, at Elland Road Stadium, 10am-5pm. Awareness • Education • Support • Resources Leeds Dyslexia Festival is brought to families and educators of Yorkshire by West Yorkshire Patoss and Yorkshire Rose Dyslexia. Helen Boden is CEO at the British Dyslexia Association (BDA). A Qualified Specialist Teacher, Helen has worked extensively in the field of dyslexia for over 25 years including carrying out research on behalf of the BDA with Young Offenders and long term unemployed. She has worked for the BDA in various roles, including leading the training and assessment operations, for over 15 years before taking up the post of CEO in 2018.

The conference will be taking place in the East Stand of the Elland Road Stadium

    The Elland Road Stadium is close to the cottingley train station and is a short taxi ride away.

  • By Car

    Elland Road has plenty of on-site parking for visitors and exhibitors. This is by far the easiest way to get to the venue.

    The Stadium is very accessible by bus. You can find a list of bus services on the wymetro website here
